I upgraded to WordPress 3.0.4 today, not much there, but it was a pain on Godaddy. Just a couple of permission settings that don’t allow the upgrade by default. Let me know if you need more info on that!

Also added a new tag cloud widget…. maybe the coolest ones ever! You can learn more about the WP Cirrus if you read German!

I thought that it was odd that the current WordPress version didn’t include gravatars. It turns out that they have been included since version 2.5. Here’s an article that I found on how to implement it.

In my frustrations with configuring friendly permalinks, I finally set it back to use the default setting. Then after reading this article…. whala! it works! What did I do? I think it may have been the fact that I setup the web.config (I’m hosted on IIS7) because I didn’t have to wait even 5 minutes, or else, I just didn’t have the patience last night and my changes would have worked fine had I just waited 20-30 minutes.

WordPress is setup. Ugh!  … not wordpress, just with the hoops that I had to jump through to get the work completed with Go-daddy.  I should have just deleted the old site completely!
